I found that Pia tends to repeat herself a lot, so you may find that you will gloss through things since you’ve already heard it over and over again. For me the book was a bit absurd, word “homicidal” was used a lot in talking about the patterns and I don’t think that will talk to a lot of people, to who it could when it would be written differently.

Facing Love Addiction is not a book I would ever need to read. This, along with Facing Codependence, is a must read for anyone serious about their recovery and want to have truly intimate relationships! I felt like it was a bit outdated and I wish it had more examples and scenarios to tie it all together. I actually enjoyed the last part where Keith Miller jumps in and provides his two cents. But this book may have value for other people. I would recommend this book to someone interested in the topic or curious if they are suffering the effects of Love Addiction without realizing it.
