The anime uses Youko as a framing device for telling other stories while the novels do not. But a reader’s inability to recognize this as such is not the fault of Ono, it should be noted.

The first book was slated for release in March If you have watched the anime, I do not need to tell you why you should read these books. I wanted more of the mystery of how she ookki there, not so many fight scenes.
